Half-Dome and the near Infrared Spectrum

I’m essentially a landscape photographer with several and important exceptions; the greatest majority of my landscapes are black & white and captured through a near infrared filter built into my camera; secondly, I have a penchant for utilizing Photoshop to take pieces of my photographs from the original images and compositing them into other images to produce original surrealistic works that are for sale as well. Although they could perhaps comprise a page in the Odd Couple’s bible, the inspiration for my photography and composite work come from Ansel Adams and Salvador Dali, as well as Marcel Duchamp and Galen Rowell. As an added bonus for you gardeners and flower lovers, I have a number of (Macro) images for sale of flowers and their pollinators that are unique and visually stunning in my “Flowers and Friends” gallery.

I feel privileged to be able to offer fine art prints of both black & White and color photographic images of a very high quality. In addition, the original surrealistic, composite photographic images that I’m offering for sale are not available anywhere else, and they represent a form of artwork that is both unique and visually surprising. Finally, imagine a large, ultra-glossly metal print hanging on your wall featuring a sharp and detailed orange Stargazer Lily with a beautiful Blue Morpho butterfly gracing the center stage of the image. I offer traditional framed prints of many sizes, as well as ready-to-hang, non-traditional prints; my favorite are the ultra-glossy metal prints, and of course I offer the highest quality Acrylic prints raging in sizes and costs, and unframed, unmounted prints for you traditionalists that you can take as is to your favorite frame shop.
